Measurement of the temperature dependence of resistivity and Hall coefficient is a valuable tool with which to study metals. The necessary experimental considerations for making such measurements and the theory of resistivity and the Hall effect are discussed. Results of measurements made on 99.9999% Cu are compared with those made ty J.P. Moore (resistivity) and C.M. Hurd (Hall coefficient).
