Northern Illinois University History Club

The NIU History Club is for NIU students who are majoring/minoring in history, or just have an interest in history. We have weekly meetings on Tuesdays or Thursdays at 5pm. The club is designed to be a resource for History majors/minors to help them through their school career. Our goal is to collect the best information and advice about classes and professors, as well as bring in guest speakers who can answer any question you may have about undergrad school, grad school, careers, internships, etc. We also host trivia nights, movie nights, and field trips to local museums and historical sites. Though having a history club at NIU isn't a new concept, we are bringing it back to life and re-inventing it to attract and assist more history students.
